The RGS-IBG Geographic Information Science Research Group (GIScRG) is pleased to announce several changes to its committee for 2026–27.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Stef De Sabbata for her many years of service as Chair of GIScRG. Stef has made a substantial contribution to the development of the Research Group through her leadership, commitment and support for the wider GIScience community.
We would also like to warmly thank Rui Zhu for his contribution as Secretary, and Nick Bearman and Kristina Wolf for their service as Treasurers. Their time and commitment have been greatly appreciated by the Group.
As we begin the new committee term, we are delighted to welcome Mingshu Wang as Chair, Xiao Li as Secretary, and Meiliu Wu as Treasurer.
